Removing One or Multiple PowerPoint Slides
Steps
Method 1: Using Desktop

Open a presentation in PowerPoint. You can choose to work on a new or existing project.
- PowerPoint is available for both Windows and Mac users. Additionally, you can access PowerPoint online at Office.com .

Select the slide(s) you want to delete. If you’re deleting a single slide, simply click on it.

- For multiple slides that are not adjacent, hold Ctrl and click on each slide you wish to select.

Right-click the slide(s) and click Delete Slide. This option will appear in the pop-up menu right below Duplicate Slide. If you’re using a Mac, you may need to control-click.
- The selected slide(s) will be removed from your presentation.
- Alternatively, you can press Del or Backspace on your keyboard to delete the slides.
- If you wish to undo this action, simply press Ctrl + Z (Windows) or Cmd + Z (Mac).
Method 2: Using Mobile

Open the PowerPoint app. The app icon resembles an orange pie chart with a P on it.
- Ensure you have an Office 365 subscription to use PowerPoint. Log into your Microsoft account if you haven’t already.
- If no project is currently open, tap to select one.

Long-press on a slide. This action will bring up the thumbnail pane at the bottom of the screen.
- A pop-up menu will appear.

Tap Delete. This action will remove the slide from your presentation.
- If you don’t see the Delete option, swipe left to reveal more choices.
