1. Download a Template

2. Download a Graphic

To enhance your presentation with visuals, consider downloading professionally designed graphics. Envato Elements offers a wide selection of graphics, from infographics to images that add visual interest. For this tutorial, we will use the Cute Cat Illustration 2, which includes eight adorable cat graphics available in PSD and PNG formats.

3. Select Elements to Group on the Slide

Once you’ve added the desired photos or images to your presentation, it’s time to group them. Begin by selecting the elements you want to group. Click on each element while holding down the Shift key to select multiple items simultaneously.

After selecting the elements, right-click on one of the handles of the selected items. From the menu that appears, choose the Group option. Your elements are now grouped, allowing you to move them together as a single unit.

To move your grouped items, click on one of the elements within the group and drag it to your desired location. Ensure your mouse cursor appears as a plus sign before clicking to initiate the drag. When you move one element, all grouped elements will move in unison.

How To Group Text on Your Slide

Begin by creating a text box. Click on the Insert tab in the menu bar, then select the Text Box option from the dropdown. Your cursor will change to a plus sign; drag your cursor to create the text box, then click inside to enter your text.

To group text boxes, hold down the Shift key and click on each text box you want to include in the group. After selecting the desired text boxes, right-click on one of them and select the Group option from the menu.

3. Move Grouped Text Boxes

Once your text boxes are grouped, you can move them by clicking on any one of the boxes and dragging them as a unit.

4. Ungroup Text Boxes

If you need to ungroup text boxes, simply right-click on one of the grouped text boxes and choose the Ungroup option from the menu. This option will only appear if the text boxes have been previously grouped.
